Will this work for me if I’m not a marketing expert?

Absolutely! Scoops meets you where you are. 

One thing that makes me sad is when creative people—who are already juggling everything in their biz—feel like they have to be a marketing expert to share their offerings on social media. Because that’s just not true. It’s helpful to understand marketing, but you don’t have to be an expert to leverage social media. You just need an invested community (something Scoops helps you build via irresistible AF content).

Does Melo create content for me?

No, but I don’t just propose an idea and leave you high and dry to figure it all out by yourself. Who do you think I am?

In Scoops, I offer multiple angles inside specific categories (those in line with your brand’s goals) to give you variety without boxing you in. This offers flexibility to identify how you want to bring that idea to life, any given day. Plus, the content ideas I propose aren’t designed to feel unfamiliar to you. It’s the kind of content you’re already creating—now there’s just a strategy behind why you’re creating it.

What social platforms does this service cover? 

Primarily Instagram, but the insights you gain can be transferred to other social platforms.

How is this different from a content calendar?

This is so much more than a content calendar, bb. The content calendar is quite literally 1 page out of a 35+ page deck. You’ll not only get a sample 30-day content flow within Scoops, but it’ll also map out why you’d be posting what you’re posting in the first place. In other words, it gives you the strategy behind the content calendar so your content is always leading somewhere (building brand visibility, growing your email list, promoting your newest offer, etc.)

Are there any prerequisites? 

You don’t need to have professional branding done. But you do need a solid grasp on your brand goals and the basic elements of your brand (who you are, what you do, how you help, etc.).

What about communication during the project? 

For the duration of our time together, we’ll house things in Notion and communicate primarily via Slack. This allows us to share feedback in a timely manner and stay in line with proposed timelines. 

How long does the project take? 

Scoops is ~2 weeks from start to finish. This gives us time to really dig into your brand and then put together a custom social media strategy that fits within your life so your socials can work smarter for you. In other words, the minute your strategy hits your inbox, you can hit the ground running with memorable content that doesn’t work against your daily to-do list, but with it.

I’m not a designer. Will I hit a roadblock putting these concepts into practice?

Do I have to show my face all the time?
